Translating a Photography Brand Into a Digital Experience A brand identity and website designed to give Coraly Taylor Photography a presence that reflected the beauty, emotion, and intentionality behind her work. Through client collaboration, brand exploration, and intentional UX/UI design, I created an identity and digital experience that positioned Coraly’s photography as an elevated, personal experience — not simply a service. My Role Brand & UX/UI Designer — Elise Design Studio I partnered directly with Coraly to understand the story behind her photography, the couples she wanted to attract, and the experience she wanted her clients to have from their first interaction with her brand. From there, I led the project end to end, from visual identity through final website design. Through client conversations, brand exploration, and iterative design, I translated Coraly’s vision into a cohesive identity and website designed to communicate the feeling of working with her before a couple ever steps in front of her camera. The Process Understanding the Brand Before designing anything, I focused on understanding the experience behind the photography — not just what the images looked like, but what Coraly wanted couples to feel throughout the process. Through conversations with Coraly, I explored: The story and style behind her wedding, elopement, and engagement photography The couples and clients she wanted to attract The balance between destination luxury and an intimate, personal experience The emotions and moments she wanted her photography to preserve What the brand needed to communicate before a potential client ever reached out By leading with empathy, I was able to shape a brand and site that felt true to Coraly's work while creating an experience that felt intentional from the very first interaction. Building the Identity Using insights from our conversations, I developed a visual direction centered around elevated simplicity, warmth, and timeless destination photography, focused on: A primary logo and supporting brand marks A refined typography system that felt editorial and sophisticated A warm, understated color palette that allowed the photography to remain the focal point Visual details that added personality without competing with the imagery A flexible identity system designed to grow alongside Coraly’s business I explored several directions before landing on a visual system that felt both elevated and approachable — reflecting the beauty of Puerto Rico while keeping the focus on the couples and their stories. Designing the Website With the identity in place, I designed a website built around one priority: creating an experience that feels as intentional as the photography itself. That meant: A photography-first visual hierarchy Large, immersive imagery that establishes the experience immediately Intentional storytelling throughout the site Simple navigation that allows couples to explore naturally Responsive design across devices Clear pathways to learn about services and ultimately inquire Each decision was made with intention — creating a website that doesn't simply display Coraly's portfolio, but communicates the experience of trusting her to document one of life's most meaningful moments. Final Outcome The result was a cohesive brand identity and website that position Coraly Taylor Photography as an elevated, personal destination photography experience. By combining brand strategy with thoughtful UX/UI design, I created a digital presence that lets the photography speak first while giving potential clients a sense of the person, experience, and intention behind the work.
